    All alarm traffic and dispatcher responses are stored on multiple permanent optical media on and off premises assuring fast reliable access to alarm history information.  Our Cisco AVVID voice over IP telephone system handles automatic call distribution to dispatch stations and records the details of every inbound and outbound call on computer disk. Complete statistics on response times are reviewed by Central One's management team daily to assure quality service. All telephone conversations are digitally recorded on a Wygant voice recording system.  Fiber optic telephone service enters our building from two separate directions.  If one cable is cut our service will continue using the other path.  Our building is protected by a bonded Faraday cage lightning protection system. Our equipment is powered by an uninterruptible power supply system with hours of battery backup and an engine driven generator that can power the entire central station indefinitely.
