-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Setting On Call Order for Employees Bulletin 4030 11/08/99 Copyright (C) 1999, Coastal Security Systems, Inc. All Rights Reserved. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The central station maintains a database of dealer employee's which is used for Fax Back access and for the delivery of telephone messages taken after hours, such as sales leads and service calls. Each time a change is made, a new copy of the database is either faxed or down loaded to the dealer (DHC down load file). The employee section of the database is as follows: Employee Code? Name and Telephone Numbers Full Menus? 0 Y 1 Y Moe Howard HM=954-555-1234 DB=954-555-1312 N 2 Y Larry Fein HM=407-555-9393 CP=407-555-2040 Y 3 N Curly Howard HM=407-555-1470 DB=407-555-1882 N 4 Y Shemp HM=305-555-7223 DB=407-555-4112 N 5 Y Joe DB=954-555-9297 HM=954-555-1732 Y The list contains up to twenty one entries numbered from zero to twenty. Employee number zero is special. Employee zero is the only employee who can add, change or delete pass codes via Fax Back. Employee zero always has full menus on the Fax Back system and can never be on call for sales leads, service calls or administrative (other) messages. Employees one to twenty are actual sales persons, service technicians, or other employees who either need access to Fax Back or who are on call for the delivery of telephone messages or both. ------------------------------------- Adding, Changing and Deleting Codes When your dealer account is initially established the central station enters a Fax Back code for employee number zero. Once this is done, the code cannot be modified except by using Fax Back. At the same time the account is created, the names, telephone numbers and menu access is entered in to the central station computer for each employee. Additions, changes and deletions of employee names, telephone numbers and menu access options must be sent to the central station for data entry. Additions, changes and deletions of Fax Back access codes can be made immediately by logging in to the system as employee zero. Most service employees do not really need access to all of these options.
