-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Daily Dealer Report Options Bulletin 5000 03/29/04 Copyright (C) 1992, Coastal Security Systems, Inc. All rights reserved. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The central station computer prepares a series of reports for each dealer. Preparation of the reports begins at midnight. When preparation is complete, the computer automatically faxes, emails or stores each report for web access according to the report options selected by the dealer. If you choose email the reports will be sent to the same email address that is used to email signals to the dealer. If you choose fax the reports will be sent to the fax number or email address used to send administrative telephone messages to the dealer. If you choose web access the reports will be stored on our web server waiting to be accessed via the internet. You may use the Citrix remote terminal to print the reports or you may use the www.centralone.com/dealer web page to view and/or print the reports at your convenience. ---------------------------- DESCRIPTION OF DAILY REPORTS ---------------------------- DBH - Subscriber Record Updates Each time a subscriber record is modified in the central station computer, a new copy of the entire record is included in the subscriber record update report (DBH file). The dealer will be able to see exactly the same information that a central station dispatcher sees while viewing a subscriber's account. If the dealer prints out this report it can be stored in account number order in a three ring notebook. Each update would simply replace the previous notebook pages. PUL - Deleted Account Summary Each time an account is deleted or the account or dealer number changes, a description of the deletion or change is included in this report. This report is delivered to you by the same means as your DBH report. If you do not receive a DBH report then it is delivered by the same means as your STR report. STR - Exception Report The central station computer checks every account every day for a variety of problems such as unrestored zones, missing test signals, expired permits or certificates and missing data entry information. For a complete discussion of this report see bulletin 5020. DCS - Derived Channel Status Report The central station computer links with the Southern Bell WatchALERT host computer once each week to compare databases. The status (up/down, responding/ not responding) of each STU is updated in the central station computer and all down or non-responding STUs are reported in this report. This report is delivered via the same option selected for the Subscriber Trouble Report. EMP - Employee Log Report Installers and service technicians typically use the central station's fax back system to clock in and out of accounts throughout the day. At the end of each day, the central station compiles a record of this activity called the Employee Log Report. See bulletin 5050 for a complete description. REM - Remote Access Login Report Both successful and unsuccessful attempts to log in to the Citrix remote access terminal are reported in this file. Details include the date, time, and employee number. DHC - Dealer Hard Copy Each dealer instructs the central station on how to handle telephone messages such as sales leads and service calls (bulletin 1000), the action to take when an invalid (unexpected) signal is received (bulletin 1010), who to call after hours for emergency service (bulletins 1000 and 4030), and a number of other options. All of this information is stored in the central station computer's dealer database. Whenever this information changes, the central station prepares a new copy of the entire record called the Dealer Hard Copy. DLR - Daily Log Report The Daily Log Report may include all of the alarm traffic received for the previous day or it may be limited to dispatched alarms and trouble signals. Log reports may also be produced via internet access. Select the F7 option at the main menu to produce the report of your choice. A daily report of all trouble signals and dispatches should be produced each day for follow-up action. AHJ - Notices to Authority Having Jurisdiction The National Fire Code (NFPA 72) requires central stations to notify the authority having jurisdiction when a fire alarm system is taken out of service for more than eight hours. This report contains a list of all such notices made in connection with your fire alarm accounts for the previous day. The AHJ report is delivered using the same option as the STR report. -------------------------------------------- DELIVERY OPTIONS WHERE MASTER DEALER APPLIES -------------------------------------------- If you have multiple dealer numbers the daily reports are distributed as follows: Report(s) Dealer Number Master Dealer Number -------------- ----------------------------- ----------------------------- DBH & DLR According to option on file.
