Dealer Access

Central One is now part of C.O.P.S. Monitoring.  We believe this is a very exciting opportunity for you to now have a true wholesale alarm monitoring provider whose main focus is to deliver the highest quality alarm monitoring services through caring professionals who are supported by leading-edge technology.  Here are some reasons why you will benefit from this change:

 1.   Florida is a strategic location for C.O.P.S…

It compliments our “hub and spoke” approach to building regional central stations, and joins our New Jersey, Arizona, and Texas locations.  We plan to either redo the current facility or construct a brand-new central station nearby.

 2.   Key personnel remain on-board...

Management members include Rick Jones (General Manager) and Mike McGrath (Account Manager).  We have also secured the services of Mike McIntosh for special projects through a consulting arrangement.

 3.   Within 60 days…

We intend to reduce the monitored-account-to-dispatcher ratio by about half.  What this means to our new staff, your company, and your customers is an improved level of service that will impact positively alarm response time, inbound phone answer time, and the overall customer experience.

 4.   Within six months…

●Your invoices will have a new look.  We are migrating from the current Dice billing system to the C.O.P.S. proprietary system.  It provides an easy-to-read summary, and in-depth account-level detail.

● You will be offered GPS vehicle & asset recovery services, direct billing options, and complimentary marketing materials to assist you with promoting monitoring to prospective and new clients.

 5.   Within nine months to one year.  ..

The C.O.P.S. Proprietary Software Platform is designed to best serve you, and is tailored to help dispatchers produce consistent results while delivering exceptional customer service.  The best of Central One’s features will be integrated to strengthen it further.

Load Balancing is one of the single greatest advantages you will have over your competition.  Once integrated into our network of stations, activity spikes due to storms or hurricanes will be automatically redirected by our intelligent software and will be countered by the help of dispatchers in New Jersey, Arizona, & Texas.  The result is a more consistent response time!

Redundant Sites to protect against hurricanes in Florida that force the facility to be evacuated, we would shut down the Florida system and re-route alarms to other centers.

As an industry leader in response time, we will help further strengthen your company’s credibility.  In calendar year 2005, we responded to more than 1,000,000 high priority alarms.  We hired an independent auditor to analyze our performance, and they found that on average we processed each alarm in 15.48 seconds!  Your competition will be hard-pressed to find any other central station that publishes this information.

A powerful, easy-to-use proprietary Dealer Access program that is unrivaled in the industry.  This system was designed in-house as well, and was built on FEEDBACK from DEALERS JUST LIKE YOU.  Features include data entry, testing, supervision, management reports, account base audits, and many, many other benefits.

● A Dealer Support Department consisting of knowledgeable representatives and 24/7 data entry

In essence, C.O.P.S. Monitoring only succeeds when the independent alarm dealer succeeds.  We are committed to providing the very best services to our valued dealer base – which now includes you.  We will strive to constantly improve upon our existing services and offer new, creative and useful solutions that best serve you.  More information will follow soon!

C.O.P.S. MONITORING:   RETURNING YOUR TIME THROUGH CONVENIENCE & SIMPLICITY

6/23/2006    Central One Acquired by C.O.P.S. Monitoring Group

As of Friday, June 23rd 2006, Central One is now part of the C.O.P.S. Monitoring Group.   Devcon, who recently acquired Coastal and Central One, elected to sell off the wholesale monitoring firm to focus their efforts on their retail business.

C.O.P.S. Monitoring was established in 1978, and we are a UL, FM, IQ-Certified privately owned WHOLESALE central station (we do not own any retail alarm customers) that provides services to more than 2,000 alarm dealers nationwide.

Through central stations in NJ, AZ, TX - and now FL - we focus on providing industry-leading services to the local alarm dealer.  Our audited response time to high priority alarms in 2005 was 15.48 seconds, and our dealer access program is unmatched in the industry.

"Central One has certainly established itself as a true leader in today's wholesale alarm monitoring marketplace.   The level of professionalism and respect they command is well deserved, and we believe this acquisition will even further strengthen the benefits our
combined dealer base will enjoy in the months ahead" says James McMullen, President and COO of C.O.P.S.

Over the course of the next year, alarm dealers of both companies will enjoy new benefits as the very best features and services of each
company become integrated to build an even stronger wholesale monitoring firm.

Mike McGrath stays on-board with the company, along with Rick Jones and many  other employees you have come to both know and trust.  You will be contacted in the very near future (if you have not been already) by Mike and/or other members of the C.O.P.S. Management team.  You can learn more about C.O.P.S. by visiting our web site at www.copsmonitoring.com. We look forward to our future together!
