Central One offers video monitoring services for subscribers using remotely accessible DVR equipment such as the Ademco Rapid Eye system. When an alarm signal is received Central One operators will connect via the internet (dial-up is not available) to the subscriber's site and, based on the zone that tripped, view specific cameras for a specific period of time. The actions taken by the operator may be based on what is seen using the video. Here are instructions from a sample account:
DVR System type: Rapid Eye Name: ACCT301921 Password: BX14MNP
Viewing time per signal: 5 minutes
| Zone(s) | View Camera(s) | Instructions |
| 1,3-6 | 2,3,4 | Dispatch PD if any person seen on premises. |
| 2,7 | 1 | Dispatch PD if any person seen on premises. |
| 8 | 5,6 | Notify callout for any activity except UPS or FedEx delivery truck. |
Monthly charges for video monitoring are based on the number of signals per month you want included in the basic rate and the amount of time you want the operator to spend viewing video per signal. A per signal charge will apply for any signals in a calendar month that exceed the basic allotment. It is cheaper in the long run if you can correctly estimate the number of trips per month. Video guard tour services are available and are rated the same way as signals. Central One creates signals according to a weekly schedule in order to accomplish guard tour services.
Central One operators will access each DVR account no less than once per month to make sure it remains accessible and is working properly. The dealer will be notified if any camera on the view list is not working.
